6.6 GS-UI Lookup Groups In Eclipse

Normally, the way GigaSpaces allows you to run a set of applications without them interferring is to set the environment variable LOOKUPGROUP to an appropriate value. This gives an effective separation of the applications base on the LOOKUPGROUP value.

This approach doesn't work in Eclipse, so for Eclipse deployments there is a fixed lookup group '<applicationName>_LOOKUPGROUP'.

When using GS-UI, you must set the lookup groups to match the way it has been started. You will need to go into the Settings / Discovery / Group Management dialog and tick the entry for your application - either the fixed Eclipse deployment approach, or the value you choose via the environment variables in other deployments.
