1.3 Known Issues

  1. The threads created by GigaSystemBuilder are not terminated at destroy time. This means that if a PU in a GSC is stopped and the GSC is then used for another deployment, these threads will still be running. To avoid any problems with this, stop and restart GSC's before deploying PUs.
  2. Setting the FIFO attribute true on a space causes a compilation error.
  3. The multi-project Eclipse build unnecessary builds a couple of jars multiple times.
  4. The annotations [Post/Pre][Primary/Backup] are not documented. Put them on a method on a JavaBean in a PU.
  5. "Constraints" are defined as modelling concepts in the manual but aren't used by any other modelled objects. They will be used on entities when we do business object modelling.
  6. The "customisations/" directory needs to be documented in the manual and expanded.
  7. There are a lot of warnings in the Eclipse build if you use the default Eclipse Java editor settings. You can remove a lot of these by setting the Eclipse preferences, for example Java / Compiler / Errors-Warnings / Potential programming problems / "Serializable class without serialVersionUID", Java / Compiler / Errors-Warnings / Unnecessary code / "Unused import".
